Badoni notches up his sixth First Class hundred as Delhi dominates day one

Ayush Badoni anchored the Delhi innings on the opening day of their Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand, reaching an unbeaten 105 to guide his side to 309 for five. After Delhi struggled early against the spin attack, Badoni combined with Sumit Mathur for an unbroken 128-run partnership to stabilize the visitors.

Mathur, who finished the day on 50, benefited from a reprieve when a catch off his bowling was overturned due to a no-ball. Earlier, Priyansh Arya, Sanat Sangwan, Yash Dhull, Ayush Doseja, and Anuj Rawat all fell as the Jharkhand bowlers claimed wickets throughout the day.
