The Atlanta Dream have made a surprising shift in their WNBA Finals strategy, opting to open the full 17,000-seat capacity at State Farm Arena for Games 3 and 4 against the Golden State Valkyries. Earlier in the postseason, the team had limited seating to roughly 8,800–9,700 fans per game due to the rushed timeline for selling playoff tickets, which were only made available after the schedule was finalized.
Despite selling out the arena five times during the 2026 regular season, speculation had swirled about whether demand would sustain full capacity in the high-stakes Finals. Now, with ticket sales surging—including a reported 529% jump in Game 1 prices at San Francisco’s Chase Center—the Dream are betting on championship momentum to draw record crowds.
Tickets for Games 3 and 4, set for October 21 and 24, will go on sale Friday, giving fans more time to secure seats than was possible for earlier playoff rounds.
