Asian Games: Dominant Suruchi-Kamaljeet win mixed team gold

India claimed its second gold medal of the Asian Games on Friday as Suruchi Singh and Kamaljeet triumphed in the mixed team pistol shooting event. 6 to finish ahead of silver-medalist South Korea and bronze-medalist Iran.

This stellar performance provided much-needed redemption for the Indian shooting contingent following a sluggish start to their campaign. After cruising through the qualification round by matching the Asian record with 587 points, the pair steadily pulled away from the field in the final to secure a resounding victory.
