Asian Games: Defending champions Satwik-Chirag suffer shock first-round exit

Indian badminton suffered a major setback at the Asian Games when the fourth-seeded men's doubles partnership bowed out during the opening round. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty initially looked strong after claiming the opening set convincingly by nine points, yet they ultimately failed to hold their advantage and dropped the subsequent set by a narrow two-point margin to their opponents from Thailand.
