Are main stadiums the right place for women's football?

Following the men's team relocation to the newly-constructed Hill Dickinson Stadium, Everton shifted their women's side from Walton Hall Park to Goodison Park. Catherine Wright, the director of women's football operations, noted that initial priorities centered on upgrading player facilities and updating visual branding throughout the historic ground.

Club officials integrated pink into the traditional blue color scheme and installed branded seat covers on upper tiers and one side to manage attendance visibility. Locker rooms underwent significant renovations including upgraded showers, custom storage with nameplates, adjusted hook heights, and a designated family gathering space named the Mo Marley Lounge.
