Arafat rips through England as Brook’s men wilt against Pakistan in tri-series opener

Pakistan delivered a commanding performance in their opening one-day international against England, securing an 87-run victory in a tri-series opener. The hosts’ dominance was anchored by Arafat Minhas, who made an immediate impact with a 59-run knock and then dismantled England’s batting lineup with six wickets for just 40 runs.

His all-round effort proved pivotal as Pakistan recovered from a shaky start, with Hasan Nawaz also contributing to a total of 302 runs. England, still recovering from a disappointing summer campaign, struggled to chase down the target despite an early push, highlighting Pakistan’s strength in this format and their home advantage.
