Antonio Brown to accept plea deal, avoid prison in attempted murder case

Former professional football player Antonio Brown has reached an agreement to resolve a severe criminal matter in Florida. Rather than facing incarceration on a second-degree charge alleging attempted murder, his legal representation confirmed that he will enter a plea of no contest to a reduced offense involving aggravated assault.

The court appearance to formalize this resolution is scheduled for the end of the month on September 30. Defense counsel Mark Eiglarsh noted that the arrangement effectively eliminates any threat of prison time for the former wide receiver.
