Angel Reese’s Teammate Becomes Talking Point for What Happened After She Lost Her Shoe During Dream’s Playoff Game vs Mystics

During the opening game of their playoff series against the Mystics, the Atlanta Dream overcame an early eleven-point deficit to secure a 92-77 victory, largely capitalized by twenty-two opponent turnovers that translated into twenty-seven points. Rhyne Howard delivered a stellar performance with twenty-six points, ten converted free throws, and five steals, notably scoring a layup without her shoe after being fouled by Cotie McMahon in the final quarter.

Following the play, teammate Angel Reese celebrated with a chest bump and enthusiastic encouragement, highlighting the strong chemistry between the two All-AP selections. Reese contributed thirteen points, twelve rebounds, two steals, and a block during the matchup, while Madina Okot and other teammates also featured in the contest held at State Farm Arena.
