The Portuguese fullback, who joined from FC Porto in 2018 as a teenager, has lifted the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the 2024 FA Cup against their cross-town rivals.

However, he admitted it has been agonizing to watch City amass five Premier League crowns, four League Cups, three FA Cups, and a Champions League trophy across that identical timeframe. Born in Braga just months prior to Sir Alex Ferguson's 1999 treble and 14 years old during United's 20th league triumph, Dalot is determined to help bring that standard back.

Now the squad's second-longest tenured member behind Luke Shaw, Dalot has weathered five permanent managers and eight head coaches total, which included patience under Jose Mourinho and a loan spell with under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. While the current defensive unit has faced heat after shipping six goals across fixtures against Hull City, Ipswich Town, and Everton, Dalot emphasizes the dedication required to represent the club.
