Kyrie Irving successfully returned to the court for the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, marking his first appearance in over 19 months following a significant knee injury. He opened the scoring immediately against the Houston Rockets, helping his team secure a 132-115 victory to split their two-game exhibition series in China.
Under the guidance of head coach Dusty May, the Mavericks displayed improved efficiency from beyond the arc and capitalized on defensive pressure to force numerous turnovers. Max Christie also contributed significantly to the offensive effort as Dallas maintained control for much of the contest.
The two franchises are scheduled to face each other again on October 21 to officially begin their regular season campaigns.
