49ers’ signing of Brandin Cooks does more than address WR depth

The San Francisco 49ers added wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who previously played for the Bills. The roster move comes after injuries to receiver De'Zhaun Stribling and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, both of whom required transportation off the field on golf carts during a matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
