“That’s My Girl”: Charles Barkley Surprises With His WNBA Knowledge Days After Struggling to Name NBA Players’ Teams

Just days after stumbling through a television segment meant to test his knowledge of men's professional basketball rosters, Hall of Famer Charles Barkley surprised viewers by successfully identifying several women's professional basketball players during an appearance on a digital platform. Challenged by former athlete Candace Parker during a podcast episode, the analyst managed to correctly guess four out of six players presented to him.

His correct identifications included Kelsey Plum, DeWanna Bonner, Chelsea Gray, and Veronica Burton, while he missed on Rickea Jackson and Kate Martin. Barkley humorously credited his success to his own multifaceted appeal, while Parker noted that his performance vastly exceeded his usual struggles on male basketball trivia.
