Rams pursued Maxx Crosby after failed Ravens blockbuster, but EDGE chose to stay with Raiders, per report

Maxx Crosby is set to kick off the 2026 campaign with the Las Vegas Raiders in their home opener against the Miami Dolphins at Allegiant Stadium, but his presence comes after a turbulent offseason. Back in early March, the franchise had worked out an agreement in principle to send the defensive end to the Baltimore Ravens for a package featuring several first-round selections.

That transaction rapidly unraveled when Baltimore pulled out after Crosby failed his medical review due to concerns surrounding his surgically repaired knee.

Following that collapsed swap, several franchises showed interest, with the Los Angeles Rams making the most aggressive push to land him alongside inquiries from the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers. However, prospective suitors attempted to acquire him at severely discounted rates, and no viable proposals materialized.
