LOOK: NFL legend Adam Vinatieri just set a Guinness World Record on top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps

Former professional football star Adam Vinatieri has achieved a unique global feat by establishing a brand-new Guinness World Record in the Swiss Alps. The legendary place-kicker traveled to Jungfraujoch, famously referred to as the Top of Europe, to successfully execute the highest altitude field goal ever recorded.

Despite retiring with multiple legendary career milestones, including four championship titles, a staggering 2,673 total points, and 599 successful kicks, the former superstar found this high-altitude challenge completely novel.

Operating at an elevation of 11,332 feet introduced severe environmental obstacles that tested the veteran athlete differently than any snowy gridiron battle from his playing days. Thin air radically altered breathing and heart rate, creating an entirely unpredictable kicking environment that had never been attempted previously.
