Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow sat out portions of Wednesday's media-viewing practice window, skipping pre-workout stretching and quarterback warm-up throwing drills. He did, however, throw some passes with Joe Flacco prior to the stretch.
The franchise proceeded with Burrow's standard Wednesday media session later that afternoon, where the signal-caller addressed his condition.
Burrow explained that he experienced minor back tightness, describing the issue as routine soreness resulting from game action. While he remains uncertain about his availability for Thursday's session, Burrow thoroughly dismissed the suggestion of resting as a safety measure and stated his intention to play against the Houston Texans this Sunday.
