UFC president Dana White has acknowledged Eddie Hearn’s role in securing the UK as the host for the highly anticipated heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Antony Joshua. The fight, originally considered for New York’s Madison Square Garden, will now take place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11, with the bout expected to conclude in the early hours of December 12.
Despite tensions between White and Hearn—including a public feud over promotional involvement—the two heavyweights held a joint press conference on September 30 to ease lingering concerns about the event’s future. The fight, a collaboration between Saudi Arabian promoter Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and White, will be streamed exclusively on Netflix, marking another milestone in the long-awaited rivalry between Fury and Joshua.
