'Bangladesh can now dominate in Test cricket' - Hasan Mahmud ahead of one-off red-ball clash vs Afghanistan

Following a dominant nine-wicket victory over Australia in Darwin this past August, Bangladesh fast bowler Hasan Mahmud believes his team is ready to become a major force in Test cricket. Mahmud, who claimed nine wickets in that match including a historic 6-55, is now focused on a potential World Test Championship final appearance as his side sits fourth in the current standings.

Bangladesh is scheduled to play a one-off Test match against Afghanistan this Friday, October 9, though the fixture will not count toward their championship points.
